The Label

Mission.

It began as something just for me — but really it started with Aya Studios, our recording facility in Bali. From there it moved on to label management, artist management, social media, marketing, sales, strategy and so much more — all of it built to work together as one connected setup.

Now I’m sharing it with every Souta artist — and with anyone seeing this who wants to join us. It’s ready: the building stops, and the music starts again.

The engine we built

Souta now has its own Headquarters — software built from scratch, running the whole release pipeline: metadata, artwork, catalogue numbers, distribution, scheduling. Every release handled properly and on time, every time.

And it isn’t just software. Souta now has a dedicated label manager, working only on the label.

Marketing & promotion

Every release gets real content with a strategy behind it — published across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and TikTok, pitched properly to Spotify’s editors, with its own Souta fan link, a growing newsletter, and outreach to DJs, radio, playlist curators, press and promoters.

On Souta, it’s already running.

Distribution

Every release goes out worldwide through Kontor New Media — the same tier the serious dance labels use. Independent doesn’t mean small.

Royalties

Royalties run on real figures straight from distribution — every release reconciled, transparent reporting every quarter. No black box, no guesswork.

Demos — fast & fair

Send a record at soutamusik.com/demo and you’ll hear back within five days — yes or no. When it’s a yes, it comes out within three to six months, not years.

How we choose music

We sign the sound — not follower counts, not streaming numbers.

Yes, we built these tools with AI — let it do the heavy lifting so humans are free to create. But the creative process is the one line we won’t cross. No AI music. No ghost production, no fake artists — not now, not ever. If your name is on the record, you made it.

We’re not one genre, either. The sound runs from trip-pop through melodic house, house and organic house into drum & bass — we follow the sound, never a single lane.

Sync licensing & publishing

Through our own publishing company, Aimi Publishing, we pitch Souta records to music supervisors for film, TV, games and advertising — real publishing deals, another income stream for our artists.

Where we’re headed

A new release most Fridays, all year round — a living catalogue, not the occasional drop. This is a label with real momentum.

Come and join the Souta family.

What we believe.

We believe

  1. 01Music is made by humans, for humans.
  2. 02The artist behind the release must be the one who made it. A name on a record is a signature.
  3. 03A catalogue is a life’s work. Every catalogue number is permanent.
  4. 04The right finishing makes or breaks a record.
  5. 05Underground music does not need to be underground forever. Longevity over obscurity.
  6. 06Independent does not mean small. Kontor distribution, world-class finishing, a proper pipeline.
  7. 07The label’s job is to give the music the right home.

We do not believe

  1. 01AI can make music worth signing.
  2. 02Ghost production is a grey area. It is not.
  3. 03A release calendar is a strategy by itself.
  4. 04Chasing trends produces lasting music.
  5. 05A label’s job is to make hits. A label’s job is to make records.
